We’re doing something REALLY BIG for our 45th anniversary. And we want you to be part of it.
This year, we’re introducing an amazing opportunity to support the lifesaving work of Golden Valley Health Centers while advertising your business or organization at our inaugural “A Weekend With Legends,” October 28th through 30th, 2017.
This special opportunity includes:
• Oct. 28: “A Night With Legends” gala will feature honorary chairperson and NBA Hall of Fame member Rick Barry, former San Francisco Giant, pitcher Dave Dravecky, and former New Orleans Saint running back Rueben Mayes. Enjoy live and silent auctions, music, food and fun, too!
• Oct. 30: A day on the golf course — for golfers of any ability — with a delicious lunch and dinner, as well as closing remarks by Rick Barry at the Turlock Golf and Country Club.
Through the generosity of friends like you, we will be able to serve our communities' underserved babies, children, adults and senior citizens. Your contribution will go directly to the delivery of healthcare to patients with the greatest needs and least amount of financial resources.
Here's how you can help:
- Make a donation to help provide medical services to the nearly 150,000 patients we serve.
- Consider donating an item or package to the silent or live auction. The item can be donated by you, your employer, or both.
- Donate an item for the raffle at our Golfing with Legends Event on October 30, 2017.
We’d like you to join us during this fun-filled weekend! Your sponsorship or donation is enormously critical — it helps us fulfill our mission of providing exceptional health care for all, regardless of the patient’s ability to pay. Your assistance funds 29 locations across California’s Stanislaus and Merced counties that serve nearly 150,000 patients annually. GVHC provides underserved patients with family medicine, dental, pediatric, women’s health, chiropractic, podiatry, health education, optometry, and behavioral health services.
Did You Know?
- Community health centers across the country save the U.S. healthcare system more than $17 billion per year
- One out of seven California residents rely on community health centers
- More than one-third of California residents are Medicaid beneficiaries
We appreciate your time and interest! We hope you’ll join us as we kick off this annual tradition.
Best,
Kassey Mosher
